Connect and Include
Jamboree Denmark 2026 is focused on ensuring positive moments, friendships and experiences that reach far beyond the nine days of the jamboree for all participants. It is an important focus area to creative experiences that will travel with the volunteer into their future.
Without valid and comparable data from previous Jamboree Denmark’s, we will not have concrete goals for the themes, but common knowledge is used to focus efforts that are deemed to have the biggest effect.
A goal for the work with sustainability at Jamboree Denmark 2026 is to collect and secure data for a comparative foundation and concrete goals for future jamborees.
The Jamboree Planning Organisation have worked concretely with this theme through the following efforts:
- Inclusion of a broad group of participants before, during and after the jamboree
- Integration of international participants at a Danish jamboree
- Working with the initiative “Include and Connect” which focuses on securing that all participants experience the joy of togetherness at the jamboree
- Even if you have a disability that will need special care, you can also be a volunteer at the jamboree by becoming a jamboree helper( lejrhjælper)
- Influences from the registration system, such as enviromental influences, data security and choice of supplier
The efforts have been organisationally anchored in the participant area, as it carries the responsibility for the experiences of the participants at the jamboree.
The theme is expected to be measured on the satisfaction of the individual participant through a broad evaluation of the jamboree as a whole, where the results of this will be included in the Jamboree Planning Organisation’s report on sustainability.
