Emergency Information for the Campsite
If you need assistance, this page provides useful information about the camp hospital, medication, and emergency contacts.
When many of us are gathered at a jamboree, there is a risk of injury or illness. The jamboree’s emergency services, first aid clinics and camp hospital have qualified, authorised healthcare professionals ready to help throughout the jamboree.
Important phone numbers during the jamboree
The jamboree has its own control centre, which you can contact if help is needed (ambulance, fire and rescue, faults in technical installations such as toilets, etc.).

The emergency number is used in situations where you would normally call the regular emergency services (in Denmark you call 112).

Non-emergency calls should be made to the operations centre. For example, it may concern tradesperson assistance, reporting faults in installations, contacting a jamboree attendant, etc.

Pharmacy
København Øresunds Pharmacy will set up a small shop at Jamboree Denmark 2026, Patrujleapoteket Hedeland.
You can find the pharmacy at Spejdertorvet and it is open from Saturday the 18th until Sunday the 26st of July, all days between 10 and 16.
The pharmacy can help fill danish presciptions, give advice on medication and will sell over the counter medication and other pharmacy goods.
If the pharmacy cannot fill your presciption on the day, you can collect it the next day. You can also order medication on this site, for pickup at Patruljeapotek Hedeland: www.dinapoteker.dk/a/oeresund og vælge udleveringssted Patrujleapoteket Hedeland.
Contacting the Camp Hospital
In the event of more serious injuries or signs of illness, you can contact the camp hospital. Consultations with the camp hospital, first aid clinics and emergency services are free of charge for all jamboree participants, regardless of nationality.
Important terms for visits:
- Everyone under the age of 15 MUST be accompanied by an adult when visiting a first aid clinic or the camp hospital. An adult is defined as someone older than 18 years of age who is responsible for the child and thus acts in place of the parents.
- In addition, please bring the telephone number of at least one parent who can be contacted.
- For Danish participants, everyone must bring or be able to recall their CPR number and full name.
International participants
- For international participants, everyone must bring a passport (or a copy thereof).
- If you have one, you must bring the blue European Health Insurance Card. If not, bring proof of insurance that covers illness or injury.
- International participants must also bring proof of vaccination status against tetanus.
If contact with the public hospital system becomes necessary, payment must be made in cash unless passport and insurance are in order.
Medicine
Regular medicine, dressings, care products, etc. must be brought from home.
As a general rule, medicine should be stored within your own camp area at the jamboree. However, it will be possible to store medicine that must be kept refrigerated, provided this was noted upon registration.
In each subcamp’s information tent there will be a locked refrigerator for storing these types of medicine. Upon arrival at the jamboree, the medicine must be placed in the refrigerator in the info tent. The name and group name must be clearly visible on the medicine.
It is possible to take your medicine in a screened room during the info tent’s opening hours. Any other arrangements for distribution are agreed locally in each individual information tent.
A pharmacy outlet with limited opening hours will be established at Spejdertorvet. Here you can buy over-the-counter products and plasters, as well as collect prescriptions.
