Welcome to the press at Jamboree Denmark 2026
Here you will find practical information around accreditation, press meetings, job conditions and contact persons.
We expect around 30.000 Danish and International guides and scouts to participate in Jamboree Denmark 2026. Of those, there are around 3.500 volunteers who create the biggest jamboree in the Nordics at Hedeland Naturpark.
Inspirational material
Jamboree Denmark 2026 contains an ocean of stories and angles, waiting to be told. But where does on start? We have developed some inspirational material to help you on the way to creating a story.
In addition, we have also created a one-pager on the jamboree, where you can get the most relevant numbers in terms of understanding the jamboree and tell a story about it.

Accreditation
If you wish to cover Jamboree Denmark 2026 you will need to request accreditation
Requests are handled concurrently. Deadline for requests is July 1st 2026
At request, the following information must be given:
- Name and media
- Function (Journalist, photographer, tv, radio etc.)
Accreditation is given to editorial media.
Drones
It is not permitted to fly a drone at the jamboree. The jamboree’s own drone team can be contacted via Johny Kristensen at johny.kristensen@sl2026.dk.
Presse area
The press area is located in the center of Spejdertorvet
Here there will be:
- Acess to wireless internet
- Electricity for work stations
- Work spaces
- Coffee and water
The press area is a work space for accredited media. You will also find many of the jamboree’s volunteers, working with media and SoMe for the jamboree.

Ordering pictures and photographer assistance
Option for specific photos
If you need a specific photo, for example a local guide and scout group, you can order specific press photos through the jamboree’s photo service. It is also possible to get one of the jamboree’s photographers to follow you for a task at the jamboree, if you need assistance taking photos.

Facts about Jamboree Denmark 2026
- The Jamboree is held from Saturday July 18th to Sunday July 26th.
- We expect around 30.000 Danish and International guides and scouts to participate
- 3.500 volunteers help plan, structure and hold the jamboree
- The Jamboree covers around 75 hectares- or around 100 football pitches
- This is the fourth time Jamboree Denmark is held
- The theme of the jamboree is: Connect & include
Jamboree Denmark is a cooperation between the five different guide and scout associations with the combined 70.000 members. The national associations are the Danish Guide and Scout Association , KFUM Scouts, Green Girl Guides of Denmark, Danish Baptist Guide and Scout association, and The Danish Scouts of Southern Schleswig
