🔓 Part 1: Access and Preparation

Can everyone access the activity catalogue or is a login necessary?

1. Everyone can access the activity catalogue–it is publicly available (no login needed).

I find it difficult to get an overview of the activities in the registration system, what do I do?

We recommend that you find your desired activities in the activity catalogue where you have better options to search and filter based on specific criteria. Afterwards you can search for the activity number in the registration system.

Are there activities for all age groups?

Generally yes, but as the primary target group at the jamboree is 11 to 17 years old, there are more activities for these ages. However, activities for all can be found, and for family scouts, an activity rotates through different subcamps, visiting each subcamp once a week.

Who in the group can log in to the wishlist system?

The registration managers responsible for entries in CampOS.

🗓️ Part 2: Registrations

A participant has cannot attend an activity, what should we do?

You can give the ticket to another participant in your group. On the participants personal activity overview, you can press ‘Assign to another participant’. If this is not relevant, please release the spot by de-registering the participant so others may have the spot.

👥 Part 3: Leader roles and practicalities

This section covers the actual days at the jamboree and how daily life is organised.

What does the leader role entail?

If you’re set as a leader (and have a tick next to your name in the sign-up tool), you can both sign up for and be signed up for events as a leader or as a participant. When signing up a participant set as a leader, you can choose whether to sign that person up as a leader or as a normal participant. If the participant is part of a team, their role in the team sets whether they’re signed up as a leader or a normal participant. This means that if you are set as a leader for a team, and you sign up the whole team, you will get the leader role when you register. If you are part of a ‘senior / clan / ranger / rover team’, where you serve in a normal participant within the team, you’ll be signed up as a normal participant when the team is signed up as a group.

If you are registered for an activity as a leader, be aware that your role is shown on each activity. Unless otherwise stated, you cannot expect to partake in the activity as a normal participant if you are registered as a leader.

If an activity is marked with ‘we encourage leaders to assist’, what does that mean?

It means that leaders should assist during the activity. The staff will guide the leaders on what to do. You may still register an activity team without a leader assigned.

We have mistakenly registered a participant as a leader for an activity where the participant should have been a normal participant. What should we do?

You cannot change your registration from leader to normal participant. If there are still free spots, you can deregister and register again as a normal participant. If the activity is fully booked, the participant cannot partake.
If the activity is tagged with ‘Leaders may participate’, the participant can expect to be able to partake as a normal participant.

🚌 Part 4: Activities outside the jamboree

I am signed up for an activity outside the jamboree. How do I get my bus ticket?
