HOTELT is once again offering accommodation for camp volunteers
Many camp volunteers have made use of the Danish St. George’s Guilds’ accommodation offer at the previous two large international scout camps, and many may have noticed the HOTELT camp with its many yellow XXL patrol tents and our activity area with our Samian tent (kåte) as a landmark. However, at Jamboree Denmark 2026 the tents will be green!
What is HOTELT?
HOTELT is, in all its simplicity, a place where you can rent a “tent room” for one or more days, so that you don’t have to bring your own tent equipment.
The HOTELT camp will be located on the “Scout Square” (Spejdertorvet) and there will be around 40 green patrol tents, each with two cabins. In the area of the HOTELT camp, we organize activities for the smaller scouts. Our assembly tent will be a place where you can enjoy yourself, talk with and meet guild/fellowship members from all over the country.
Here we will also hold small events with relevant topics for scout leaders, camp volunteers and our guests. Inother words, come visit us and have a chat or just a cup of coffee.
Who can rent a HOTELT room?
Only camp volunteers at SL2026 can rent a HOTELT room. It is an accommodation option you can choose when you register as a camp volunteer for SL2026.
We will operate with two options:
- A cabin with one/two single beds as a single/double room for DKK 225 for the first night and DKK 200 for subsequent nights (same price regardless of whether there are one or two people)
- A family tent with two cabins for families with children. Price: DKK 390 for the first night and DKK 350 for each subsequent night. The tent is equipped with two camp beds for the ‘adults’; campers must bring their own sleeping equipment for the children.
Meals are included in the camp fee for volunteers and are served – like other meals – in the respective subcamp canteens.
When will the HOTELT rooms be available?
HOTELT can be booked for all camp days from 18/7 to 25/7 inclusive – in whole or in part.
In the preliminary camp, reservations can be made to a limited extent from 15/7 to 17/7 inclusive. If you have registered for SL2026 and would like to stay at HOTELT, please fill in our reservation form. If you haven’t already done so, you can do it via the link HERE
The St. George’s Guilds around Denmark donate the tents to a local scout group.
The green patrol tents are all newly purchased, and our HOTELT concept is based on St. George’s Guilds around Denmark donating a tent to a local scout group. The group will be given a tent certificate, and when Jamboree Denmark ends, the group will come to the HOTELT camp, pack up their tent and take it home with them.
