The full week’s programme for Jamboree Denmark 2026 is now ready

Now you can get a comprehensive overview of how each day at the jamboree will unfold and what the main events are, as the full week’s programme is finalised.

Curious about when the jamboree’s night activities, the shows on the main scene, or the subcamp days will take place? You can find these in the full week’s programme below.

Below you can find a detailed explanation of the different activities planned for each day.

Campfire

Here, all participants and guests gather at Scenen (the arena) for the opening and closing campfire at the foot of Skibakken (the ski slope). Both the young and the young at heart will be wonderfully entertained throughout the show. At the closing campfire, the celebration concludes with an exciting musical performance in the spirit of the campfire.

Activities and Events

Every day will feature fun and challenging activities planned for both the morning and afternoon. Some activities will require prior registration, which you can read more about in the activity catalogue, set to be published in early 2026. Other activities are drop-in, where guides and scouts, as well as guests, can partake without prior registration. In total, around 300 different activities are expected throughout the jamboree, amassing a total of 800,000 activity hours.

Subcamp Days

A whole day dedicated to community and collaboration within each subcamp. This year features four subcamps (the Sea, the City, the Forest, and the Country) and, unlike past jamborees, the day’s events occur within or very near the subcamp itself to minimise travel and maximise time together.  The activities on Subcamp Day are split into age groups 8-11 and 12-17 years, and activity has received a million-kroner donation from the Spar Nord Foundation. You can read more about it here

Mayor’s Day

On Tuesday, all Danish mayors and municipal politicians are invited to visit guide and scout groups from their municipality at the jamboree. This is done to foster positive dialogue with local politicians and to showcase what guiding and scouting is all about.

Night Activity

No jamboree is complete without at least one night activity. This year’s jamboree features the Go’Nat quest, taking place on Monday and Thursday from 19:00 to 22:00. Go’Nat is a capture game where participants must independently sneak and navigate from station to station without being caught. Each station is managed by seasoned adventure scouts and guides that can also introduce the participants to other great adventure scouting activities in Denmark.

Spejdermødet (a meeting of scouts and guides) and The Hour of Reflection

Mid-week, we shift focus to democracy, society, and community. Classic guiding and scouting activities are intertwined with fun, thought-provoking, and engaging experiences that make everyday democracy both understandable and memorable. All seamlessly connected by the Guide and Scout Promise, where children lead children, and everyone is welcomed at the table.

Following this is The Hour of Reflection. A dedicated hour where everyone slows down to reflect on the jamboree’s theme ‘Connect and include’ and their own experiences.

International Day

Thursday is “International Day”—whilst the regular programme continues, there will be a special emphasis on international guiding and scouting, culminating in an international campfire at Scenen (the arena). Each subcamp will also host its own international activities to highlight the occasion.

Special Events

Moreover, the jamboree offers several special events focusing on particular target groups and themes. These include a religious service on Sunday afternoon, a volunteer event, an international event (Thursday), a youth event (Tuesday evening), and a children’s event (Saturday morning). Further details on these events will be posted at www.spejderneslejr.dk/en.
