Activity Registration

Activities Activity Registration

On this page, you will find information about the activity registration. You will also find a guide and an FAQ, which we hope you will find useful.

General Recommendations

  • You can create activity teams across friendship groups, with groups in the same subcamp (both Danish and international).
  • The wishlist treats all choices equally, regardless of when submitted during the wish period.

FAQ

Our FAQ is divided into the same five sections, which reflect the steps in the activity registration process.

🔓 Part 1 Access and Preparation
📝 Part 2: Registrations
👥 Part 3: Leadership Roles & Practical Execution
🚌 Part 4: Activities Located Outside the Camp

🔓 Part 1: Access and Preparation

Can everyone access the activity catalogue, or does it require login?

1. Everyone can access the activity catalogue–it is publicly available (no login needed).

I´m finding et difficult to keep track of acitivities in the registration system, what should I do?

If you cannot find an activity, it may be because one or more of the scouts fall outside the recommended age group. In that case, you can remove the checkmark in the box “show only age-appropriate activities” to display all activities.

Are there activities for all age groups?

Generally yes, but as the primary target group at the jamboree is 11 to 17 years old, there are more activities for these ages. However, activities for all can be found, and for family scouts, an activity rotates through different subcamps, visiting each subcamp once a week.

📝 Part 2: Registrations

Now it’s time to enter your wishes. Here we’ll address the technical hurdles.

A scout can no longer participate in an activity – what should we do?

You can choose to transfer the ticket to another participant in the group. In the scout’s personal activity overview, you can click “assign to another scout” and select who should receive the spot instead. If this is not relevant, please release the spot by unregistering the scout so that other groups can benefit from it.

If one or more scouts are not within the specified age group, can they still register and participate?

Yes, as the leader, you assess whether scouts outside the specified target group can participate in the activity.
NOTE! If you’ve ticked ‘only show age-appropriate activities’, an activity won’t be displayed if even one scout in the team falls outside the age range. You can untick this to display all activities.

How many activities can be gained from the jamboree?

Can I change my wishes and priorities?

Yes, you can change and reprioritise your wishes until the 3rd of May. The system will lock and close on the 3rd of May at 23:59, after which changes are not permitted during the distribution phase.

👥 Part 3: Leadership Roles & Practical Execution

This section covers the actual days at the jamboree and how daily life is organised.

What does a leadership role involve?

If you are assigned as a leader (and have a shield icon next to your name in the registration system), you can both be and become registered for activities as either a leader or a participant. When registering a person marked as a leader, you can (when selecting individuals) choose whether to register the person as a leader or as a regular participant. If the person is registered as part of a team, the person’s role on the team determines whether they are registered as a leader or a participant. This means that if a specific person is set as a leader on a given team and you register the entire team together, the person will be registered as a leader. If the person is part of a “senior / clan / ranger / rover team”, where they do not have a leadership role, they will be registered as a regular participant if the team is registered together. If you are registered for an activity as a leader, you should be aware that your role is specified in each activity, and unless otherwise stated, you should not expect to participate on equal terms with the scouts.

If an activity is marked with `we encourage leader to assist`, what does that mean?

18. This means that leaders are very welcome to assist in the activity. The activity staff will guide you and indicate what help is needed.

However, it is still possible to send an activity team without a leadership role on

We have mistakenly registered a person as a leader for an activity where they should be a participant – what do we do?

Once registered as a leader, this cannot be changed to a regular participant. If there are still available spots in the activity at the desired time, you can remove the leader registration and then register the person as a participant (by finding the person under “participants” and clicking “+participant”). If there are no available spots, it is unfortunately not possible to obtain a participant spot, but you can monitor for availability if others cancel. However, if the role is marked as “Leaders can participate”, the person can expect to participate on equal terms with other participants.

A leader has been assigned two activities at the same time – what do we do?

As leaders were not included in the allocation during the wish phase, it may happen that a leader is registered for one activity as a leader and another as a participant (as part of a “senior / clan / rover / ranger team”). We recommend transferring the activity where the person is registered as a leader to another leader in the group. In the individual’s activity overview, you can click “assign to another participant” and transfer the ticket.

🚌 Part 4: Activities Located Outside the Camp

I am registered for an activity outside the camp – how do I get my bus ticket?

When registering for an activity located at Fremtidens Spejderhytte, Høje-Taastrup, RUC, or Veddelev Harbour, you will automatically receive a bus ticket matching the activity’s start and end time, as well as the number of registered participants and leaders. In the activity overview under “Registrations”, it will specify when you need to take the bus.

Roskilde uses a slightly different setup – here you must register for a bus ticket yourself in order to register for an activity in Roskilde. The activity buses to/from Roskilde are scheduled to give you around 5 hours in Roskilde, which can be used for additional registered activities or the many open activities available in the city. To register scouts for an activity in Roskilde, those scouts must first be registered for “#7685 Activity Hours in Roskilde”, which ensures bus tickets to and from Roskilde. If you plan to get to Roskilde by other means, such as a hike or bike ride, you can still register for an activity by selecting the option “We do not need a bus to Roskilde and will arrange our own transport”.

IMPORTANT! Bus tickets are only valid for the specific time, so we recommend arriving at the bus terminal 15–20 minutes early to ensure you can board and arrive on time!

How do we take the activity buses from the camp?

The camp has one bus stop for all activity buses. It is located at Brandhøjgårdsvej, in the northeastern corner of Subcamp Havet. There is a waiting area between Brandhøjgårdsvej and the bus stop. It will be marked where you should wait depending on your destination. You must be at the bus stop 15–20 minutes before the scheduled time. Bus tickets are ONLY valid for the specified time. Bus tickets are ONLY valid for the number of registered participants (and leaders).

How do we get back to the camp?

You can only expect to board the bus if you are at the bus stop well before the time stated on your ticket. The departure time is shown on your bus ticket. Return buses depart from the same location where you were dropped off. If you have questions, you can call the phone number displayed at the bus stop.

Please let us know if you have any questions or comments. We’ll be painting the garage floor tomorrow evening (our way of celebrating our anniversary), so feel free to call if needed.
